If you submit your resume to SLS we collect all of the information contained in your resume which may include but is not limited to your name, mailing address, email address, birth date, company and prior employment information, education, and state bar or license number (if applicable) together with any other personally identifiable information required by SLS or a prospective company or employer to confirm or assess your identity, credentials, employment and educational history, criminal background history, credit history, reference checks, bar or license history and income verification. This information is gathered to facilitate the employment and staffing process and to conduct confirmation and verification of information about you or your resume for SLS, its clients, or other prospective employers. When you submit a question to customer service, we need your email address to respond, and you also may provide us with various additional information to help us answer your question. We also may receive some information about you from other sources and may add it to your profile or account information. For example, we might get your updated address from a shipper or updated information on your credentials from one of your references or biographies at professional conferences.

What Are Cookies and Do We Use Them? A cookie is a small piece of information sent by a Web site that is saved on your hard disk by your computer's browser. If you do not wish your information to be shared with unrelated third parties for marketing purposes, please email us and indicate that you do not want your information shared with third parties for third party offers. Note: Once you have submitted your request you should assume that it has been successfully received and your request is being processed. Please allow us 14 days from when the request was received to complete the removal, as some of our promotions may already have been in process before you submitted your request. If you submitted your resume to the site, we will share your resume and information about you with prospective clients or potential employers. Is My Information Secure? SLS is committed to doing its best to maintain the security of information collected on our site. To try to prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place the appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. Private account and client information is located on a secured server.

Stevens Legal Staffing Group, llc ("SLS") is the operator of this Site to provide services to legal professionals, law firms and corporate law departments (the "Services.") By accessing and using this Site, you agree to each of the terms and conditions set forth herein ("Terms of Use"). These Terms of Use are referred to as this "Agreement."

SLS reserves the right to modify this Agreement at any time without giving you prior notice. Your use of the Site following any such modification constitutes your agreement to follow and be bound by the Agreement as modified. The last date these Terms of Use were revised is set forth below.

Links on the Site to third party web sites or information are provided solely as a convenience to you. If you use these links, you will leave the Site. All information or materials including but not limited to resumes, bios, background information or any other information submitted to SLS through this Web site shall be deemed and remain the property of SLS and SLS is free to use, for any purpose, any idea, concepts, know-how or techniques contained in information a visitor to this Web site provides through this Web site. SLS shall not be subject to any obligation of confidentiality regarding submitted information to SLS. Nothing contained herein shall be construed as limiting or reducing responsibilities and obligation to clients in accordance with the SLS Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties
SLS MAKES NO EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, REPRESENTATIONS OR ENDORSEMENTS WHATSOEVER WITH RESPECT TO THE SITE, THE SERVICE OR THE CONTENT. IN SUCH STATES, SLS’S LIABILITY IS LIMITED AND WARRANTIES ARE EXCLUDED TO THE GREATEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BUT SHALL, IN NO EVENT, EXCEED $100.00.

9. Indemnification
You understand and agree that you are personally responsible for your behavior on the Site. You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless SLS, its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliated companies, joint venturers, business partners, licensors, employees, agents, and any third-party information providers to the Service from and against all claims, losses, expenses, damages and costs (including, but not limited to, direct, incidental, consequential, exemplary and indirect damages), and reasonable attorneys’ fees, resulting from or arising out of your use, misuse, or inability to use the Site, the Service, or the Content, or any violation by you of this Agreement.

11. User Conduct
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You agree not to take any action that might compromise the security of the Site, render the Site inaccessible to others or otherwise cause damage to the Site or the Content. You agree not to use the Site in any manner that might interfere with the rights of third parties.

12. User Supplied Information
SLS does not want to receive confidential or proprietary information from you via the Site. You agree that any material, information, or data you transmit to us or post to the Site (each a “Submission or collectively “Submissions”) will be considered non-confidential and non- proprietary. For all Submissions, (1) you guarantee to us that you have the legal right to post the Submission and that it will not violate any law or the rights of any person or entity, and (2) you give SLS the royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide right to use, distribute, display and create derivative works from the Submission, in any and all media, in any manner, in whole or in part, without any restriction or responsibilities to you.

13. Password Security
If you register to become a SLS.com member (when available), you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your member identification and password information, and for restricting access to your computer. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your member identification and password.

14. General Provisions
a. Entire Agreement/No Waiver. These Terms of Use constitute the entire agreement of the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof. No waiver by SLS of any breach or default hereunder shall be deemed to be a waiver of any preceding or subsequent breach or default.

b. Correction of Errors and Inaccuracies. The Content may contain typographical errors or other errors or inaccuracies and may not be complete or current. SLS therefore reserves the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions and to change or update the Content at any time without prior notice. SLS does not, however, guarantee that any errors, inaccuracies or omissions will be corrected.

c. Enforcement/ Choice of Law/ Choice of Forum. If any part of this Agreement is determined by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, it will not impact any other provision of this Agreement, all of which will remain in full force and effect. Any and all disputes relating to this Agreement, SLS’s Privacy Policy, your use of the Site, any other SLS web site, the Service, or the Content are governed by, and will be interpreted in accordance with, the laws of the State of California, without regard to any conflict of laws provisions.
