Stevens Legal Staffing is a full service professional staffing and recruiting firm focused on sophisticated temporary attorney and paralegal project staffing, document review and direct hire placement. In January 2010, SLS was acquired by two affiliated companies, Mattson Resources, LLC and the Haley Stuart Group. Based in Costa Mesa, CA, Mattson Resources is a full service staffing firm that provides its recruiting services to some of Southern California's most recognized corporations. Haley Stuart Group operates multiple businesses, including one of the country's oldest legal staffing firms (Haley Stuart). As a result of this recent transaction, SLS and its partners can now offer a more comprehensive suite of staffing solutions to its corporate clients, while providing a larger geographical footprint to deliver legal staffing services to its law firm clients. SLS retains highly skilled legal professionals with specialized practice experience. These professionals are employed by SLS and are placed on site at law firms and in corporate law departments nationwide. SLS professionals work on large and small projects, including significant transaction work such as due diligence projects for mergers and acquisitions, investigative review for corporate investigations, and document review for record retention and disposal programs. Assignments can vary in length from a few days to several months. Stevens professionals do not provide or offer legal advice or consultation at any time. All professionals are managed on site by the client project manager. Billings are based on total hours staffed.

Lynda Priest Stevens

Charles Moore
Charles Moore is the former AGC of Federated Department Stores and United Parcel Service - two of the nation's leading law departments. Charles Moore served for several years on the Board of the Association of Corporate Counsel working on issues important to today's law departments, and is a veteran law department manager. When it comes to project staffing and resource solutions, Charles Moore draws from many years of experience in providing working solutions in a corporate environment. His years of litigation management and record retention work help companies efficiently define solutions in-house or through their law firms.
